Natalie & Vivek

NATALIE & VIVEK

Natalie and Vivek’s traditional south indian wedding was everything an Indian wedding may hold in respect to its true cultures and traditions. It was full of life, fun, colours, food, music, and love just like the beautiful couple we enjoyed planning their dream day with. Overlooking the luscious greens at Ahangama we saw Natalie walk out through the doors of the villa dressed in an elegant attire with the chirpiest personality- the excitement in her eyes were visible all the way to the mandap, where Vivek dressed in the traditional south Indian dhoti and kurta awaited for his bride to take her place next to him. Amidst the graciously decorated ceremony filled with many snow down chrysanthemums that brightened the whole ceremony up against the all green foliage the couple picked out- less was more!, the couple tied the knot by taking hold of the end of Natalie’s saree and the end of Vivek’s angavastram symbolizing the union and the life lasted bond between them and held their hands to circle around the sacred fire while the vedic mantra and vows were exchanged. After the blessings and cultural deeds were performed from both sides, the celebrations continued to a magnificent afternoon where the floral and foliage kept its earlier elegance adding in the touch of love and extraness with some Sri Lankan folklore dance performances and elements and to end it with a stunning night filled with the laughter and happiness of our beautiful couple, their friends and family who danced the evening away. It was quite the magical night!
