NAVAM & SHEHARA
On a lovely day, in the month of December, a luxury hotel’s ballroom turned into an ethereal wonderland, as it transformed into a magical botanical garden-themed wedding for the lovely bride Shehara, and her charming groom, Navam. Shehara was the picture of elegance donned in a minimalistic white saree, as Navam sported a handsome blue suit, along with his best men, while the bride’s maids wore gorgeous light green, all of which blended in exquisitely with the Botanical Garden Theme that Charm and her team put together for this wondrous occasion. The lush greenery, voluminous blooms, and horticultural hues, coupled with the simple elegance of gold cutlery and charger plates provided the stunning contrast that elevated the wedding to that a dream, with beauty and serenity. The couple, filled to the brim with love, took their first dance on a blush floor that had their initials printed on it, marking the beginning of a wonderful life ahead.
When we were tasked with planning Navam and Shehara’s homecoming ceremony, we were thrilled. Having worked with them for their wedding, we knew the couple’s preferences and were able to organize their Havana Nights themed homecoming reception perfectly. It was a celebration of life, joy, and unity keeping to local traditions as Navam’s family officially welcomed Shehara into their family. The festive occasion was held at a poolside Italian restaurant at a five-star hotel in Colombo, which was delightfully decorated with tropical glamour, such as pineapples, heliconia flower centerpieces, and tropical leaves. The lighting features above the tables and the dance floor cast a warm glow to the evening. The guests had the time of their lives, indulging at the Isle of Gelato ice cream cart, gram cart with different bites, and the customized dessert wall with a plethora of sweet treats. The highlight of the evening was the breathtaking dance floor with cane lanterns on top, as everyone took to it to celebrate the couple’s journey ahead.
